The service was first class, the move went efficiently and smoothly and everyone we dealt with at the company was friendly and very helpful.  From my initial enquiry with the company, until the moment they left us in our new home, they were great. A thoroughly good set of people.

We used Ede’s packing service as well as their removal service.  When obtaining quotes, Lee & Sophie were brilliant at explaining things over the phone, email and face-to-face which reduced our stress instantly.  It was well worth paying the extra for the packing service.  All the chaps (Neil, Norman, Lee & Matt) who helped were efficient, polite, friendly and went above & beyond to help us.  Sophie was always happy to help before the move too & her communication was excellent.  They are clearly very experienced and each of the team knew what they were doing which again minimised stress and filled us with confidence.  We are extremely thankful and we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

You never know how much you have until you move but the packers did a great job from start to finish.  If there was a problem it was resolved with no fuss and everything was at the new property when I arrived.  Would be quite happy to use the firm again and recommend them to other people.

Moving house when you have 2 small children isn’t an easy task which is why we chose to have the pack and move service from Ede Bros. What an excellent choice it turned out to be. They made the whole process easy, seamless and actually quite enjoyable.

Nothing too complicated other than amount of stuff we have! Edes were honestly brilliant. Weights, pianos, wardrobes – none of it a problem. The team were exceptional, not only were they very efficient but they are nice guys. They thought of things that haven’t even crossed our mind which made the day so much easier. Our move was carried out in a very quick, efficient and careful way. The team were very helpful and accommodating of all our wishes. They were very happy to advise and move items several times, when we were unsure of our preferred location in the house. The move took four days in all and we felt the cost very reasonable, so were thrilled to receive £300 discount!

What could have been a logistical nightmare was seamless with the Ede’s team having loaded everything in such a way that it unloaded in the correct order. The guys over all 3 days were amazing – kind, friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, skilful in the way they manoeuvred our belongings and putting furniture back together. In what must have been an arduous move they never put a frown on their faces and acted as a reassuring presence throughout what was a very stressful time. Huge thanks to everyone at Ede Bros from dealing with my anxious calls to settling us in our new home. In concluding I can only say the Ede Bros team are an amazing and professional group of people. This is the 3rd time they have moved us. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

The men were great, worked extremely hard and it all ran like clockwork.
Not having moved for 39 years I did not know what to expect. I need not have worried as I had lots of very good reports of Edes and they were true.

From start to finish, Ede Bros were 10/10. Detailed analysis of our property to make sure they knew what they were moving, clear explanations about their plan of works for the 3 days. They handled our belongings with the utmost care, their staff are so lovely and accommodating, presentation of staff and lorries excellent, nothing was too much of a problem. they bent over backwards to help us.

The Ede’s team were outstanding in every way. Polite, efficient, patient, calm and hard-working; they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Also extremely strong and talented at moving any size of furniture through any doorway and up//down any stairs! I especially appreciated the way they recognized how stressful the process was for us and regularly – but discreetly – checked in on us throughout the day. They could not have been more willing and able. From the outset the office back up was also excellent, from the initial assessment through to billing and sign off. Ede Brothers moved us from West Sussex to the very north of the Outer Hebrides. I had known of them for years and their reputation was one of excellence. Their communication shone out way above any other company I had spoken to about the move and Sophie and Lee together instilled a sense of trust and reassurance from the very start. All staff were professional, friendly, polite and cheerful throughout and made a daunting and stressful task so much easier than I thought possible. They all worked incredibly hard and everything was packed and on the lorry by mid afternoon. On arrival in the Outer Hebrides the access was very limited yet Norman and James managed to manoeuvre the huge lorry into the drive with only two inches spare on either side of the gate, they also managed it without getting stuck in the soft verges and ditches either side of the turn in which took considerable skill and daring. It meant not blocking the road for most of the day which would not have been very popular. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them and am so glad we chose them for our move.

I was immediately impressed by Lee when he came to the house to assess the job – friendly and helpful in addressing my various questions. The correspondence that followed was equally friendly – handled by Sophie who was in touch via phone and email at various times. The packing day went well, with an amiable team working hard through the day. A great atmosphere that made the day enjoyable and minimised the stress of the move.

The move into our new house went very well – the crew was friendly, patient and capable, nothing was too much trouble, even offering us some ideas about how things might be arranged when we were not sure. Honestly, we cannot fault the team. It was a very good experience. So, thanks to all at EDE BROS for a five star move.
