Nothing too complicated other than amount of stuff we have! Edes were honestly brilliant. Weights, pianos, wardrobes – none of it a problem. The team were exceptional, not only were they very efficient but they are nice guys. They thought of things that haven’t even crossed our mind which made the day so much easier. They when above & beyond to ensure the cats happy. They were very accommodating of our newborn baby and helped us keep essential things until the last minute to be packed this made this made everything run really smoothly. When we got to the new house, they got everything into the property in record time. We could not believe how quickly they worked. Our neighbour who met the guys has already enquired about using them for her move.

Our move was carried out in a very quick, efficient and careful way. The team were very helpful and accommodating of all our wishes. They were very happy to advise and move items several times, when we were unsure of our preferred location in the house. The move took four days in all and we felt the cost very reasonable, so were thrilled to receive £300 discount!

What could have been a logistical nightmare was seamless with the Ede’s team having loaded everything in such a way that it unloaded in the correct order. The guys over all 3 days were amazing – kind, friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, skilful in the way they manoeuvred our belongings and putting furniture back together. In what must have been an arduous move they never put a frown on their faces and acted as a reassuring presence throughout what was a very stressful time. Huge thanks to everyone at Ede Bros from dealing with my anxious calls to settling us in our new home. In concluding I can only say the Ede Bros team are an amazing and professional group of people. This is the 3rd time they have moved us. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

Not having moved for 39 years I did not know what to expect. I need not have worried as I had lots of very good reports of Edes and they were true.

From start to finish, Ede Bros were 10/10. Detailed analysis of our property to make sure they knew what they were moving, clear explanations about their plan of works for the 3 days. They handled our belongings with the utmost care, their staff are so lovely and accommodating, presentation of staff and lorries excellent, nothing was too much of a problem. they bent over backwards to help us.

The Ede’s team were outstanding in every way. Polite, efficient, patient, calm and hard-working; they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Also extremely strong and talented at moving any size of furniture through any doorway and up//down any stairs! I especially appreciated the way they recognized how stressful the process was for us and regularly – but discreetly – checked in on us throughout the day. They could not have been more willing and able. From the outset the office back up was also excellent, from the initial assessment through to billing and sign off. This must be about the 10th move me and my family have done with Edes and they never fail to impress. Highly recommended!

Ede Brothers moved us from West Sussex to the very north of the Outer Hebrides. I had known of them for years and their reputation was one of excellence. Their communication shone out way above any other company I had spoken to about the move and Sophie and Lee together instilled a sense of trust and reassurance from the very start. All staff were professional, friendly, polite and cheerful throughout and made a daunting and stressful task so much easier than I thought possible. They all worked incredibly hard and everything was packed and on the lorry by mid afternoon. On arrival in the Outer Hebrides the access was very limited yet Norman and James managed to manoeuvre the huge lorry into the drive with only two inches spare on either side of the gate, they also managed it without getting stuck in the soft verges and ditches either side of the turn in which took considerable skill and daring. It meant not blocking the road for most of the day which would not have been very popular. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them and am so glad we chose them for our move.

I was immediately impressed by Lee when he came to the house to assess the job – friendly and helpful in addressing my various questions. The correspondence that followed was equally friendly – handled by Sophie who was in touch via phone and email at various times. The packing day went well, with an amiable team working hard through the day. A great atmosphere that made the day enjoyable and minimised the stress of the move.

The move into our new house went very well – the crew was friendly, patient and capable, nothing was too much trouble, even offering us some ideas about how things might be arranged when we were not sure. Honestly, we cannot fault the team. It was a very good experience. So, thanks to all at EDE BROS for a five star move.

We had been at our previous address for 36 years so had a lot to move. Ede Bros were very understanding and helped us all the way throughout the move. We were late in getting our new keys, but Lee and the team were very patient and brought in extra men for the move.  We were very pleased with the service provided by Ede Bros. The whole team worked hard and efficiently throughout moving. The team were all fantastic, friendly and helpful.  We would definitely recommend them.

Ede Bros were so easy to deal with and the whole move went really smoothly. They were polite, helpful and treated my belongings with great care. Our experience with Ede Brothers was amazing, great service from start to finish, we were kept informed every step of the way and we knew what to expect on the day.  The day of our move our two lovely lads arrived on time and were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was an extremely hot day but they carried on cheerfully, the lorry was packed quickly and we were on our way. At our new address everything was taken to whatever room I wanted, they both worked extremely hard , we couldn’t have wished for two nicer lads to move us. Ede’s were so supportive, organised and efficient it felt stress free and enjoyable even! On arrival (after 1 1/2 hr drive) we then had to wait over 2 hours until we got solicitors go ahead, but the team were very patient and cheerful about it, at least to me anyway!  Once go ahead received they moved fast, but took the time to ensure everything was placed just as I wanted and double checked before leaving in case I wanted anything moved again.  A superb service from a fantastic company – definitely the best house moving experience I’ve ever had.

The ‘lads’ worked so very hard and were so methodical and organized, both in their packing, loading and unloading. It’s certainly an art! Even helping rearrange and suggest where things would fit better, “removal man’s eye” as they said and the way they left the garage was equally thoughtful, in that it was neat and logical and accessible, still leaving an aisle through it. Sophie, your support, knowledge and advice all those awful months of waiting was so very much appreciated and an invaluable reassurance.

The removal team were excellent, having a team of 4 people and multiple vehicles made the whole process work very effectively.  Arrived on time, courteous and hard working throughout the day, managed to negotiate items that were awkward when moving in easily and their packing skills to get everything in the vehicles were amazing.  Everything arrived safely and they were happy to carry items to wherever needed on arrival.  We were recommended Ede Bros by a friend and will certainly be recommending them to others now too.
